I turned in my very first big paper in that one class I was saying how I kept getting the exact same grade on everything. After I submitted it, I noticed a big mistake I made. I should have been hit hard for it with a C or B. Instead I got the same A number grade that I got on everything else. I did not even get the paper back with any comments.

In a way, I do not want to even try with each of my assignments, because he does not do anything with them.There is no motivation.

Wow - that is unbelievable! Lucky for your overall marks but you are right. It seems that no matter what kind of effort you will put in, it will not matter to someone who seemingly doesn't even read the paper. You would feel you were learning something if the instructor made comments good or bad, to give you something to think about.

Tell me about it. He did make one comment about putting "date accessed" in the bibliography and the footnotes which I missed once. He didn't even catch the big mistake which was technically plagiarism. I had left a note in the paper to document one set of facts from a magazine that my daughter had misplaced. I forgot to document it. He didn't even see it. That is HUGE.
