Much focus has been given to overcoming creative blocks but what do you do when you have the opposite problem of having too many ideas?

Feel free to share how you go about organizing or picking one idea from the multitudes to work on.

Prioritizing. Finding ways to combine ideas. Seeing which ideas I can make work now as opposed to which wouldn't work until some time in the future. And folders. Lots and lots of folders.

Reorganizing those folders when I'm low on ideas helps too. It's a burden to have so many unfinished projects but it's not as bad as having a half-finished roof or home.

Yes, this has been my challenge. Too many wonderful projects and ideas to manifest!

Like Leif, I have learned to prioritize. I judge by what really juices me most because that's the creative energy that is pushing to come forth. I love when the process of creating just spills over like a cool, swiftly flowing stream! I find that I don't have to think about the project very hard at all and everything unfolds beautifully almost on its own. It doesn't feel like work.

When it begins to take more laborious effort and I feel too much of a strain, I stop.

At least, this is what works for me!

Definitely go for your priority and make decision with piece of mind.

This is my problem too. The worst is when I start thinking about it all after getting to bed so you can forget about falling asleep. And the things I have in my head are ways to get out of my hell that is my life and to change all that for the better so this is difficult stuff too!

I'm still learning the prioritizing thing. I do have two project dashboards with over 300 article and story ideas. I still have some unfinished crochet I need to wind up. I get ideas all of the time. I love it. I just wish I had more time...
