Hello everyone, I wanted to ask for a little help with a dream I had last night. My boyfriend and I have been going through a lot of arguing and fighting in our waking lives. The other night u had a dream where moved to the countryside and we were house hunting. We found this really beautiful small house that was simple, but perfect for us. The colors inside were shades of blues and greens. The realtor showed us the backyard and there was a lake outback and we went to outside and steps in the lake. As we looked down there was a mama duck with some new, yellow chicks. I woke up and fell back asleep again. In this dream I was wearing a pink short and I was pregnant. I was happy but rally nervous I was going to get stretch marks. I have a fear of this in waking life. I saw one big one starting to develop and I was furiously buying creams and rubbing them on my belly. Any thoughts on these dreams?

Hi Shelo3. Sorry I missed this thread. I had to go out-of-town for a family emergency.

Anyway, your dreams reflect not only what is going on in your waking life but also your subconscious fears and desires. That is why, since you are experiencing a lot of conflict during your waking life with your boyfriend, your dreams project images of much desired peace.

In your dream, you are moving to the countryside (idyllic, peaceful, away from hectic lifestyles). Your beautiful, small (cozy, quaint, humble) house is colored in blue (peace, tranquility, serenity) and green (healing).

A placid lake in the backyard underscores this peaceful theme. A mama duck with chicks reflects that happy family that you and your boyfriend are attempting to create by moving into a new house.

Dream #2: This one simply reflects your waking life fear of getting stretch marks. Most every soon-to-be mother, while being thrilled with the coming baby, has reservations about how pregnancy, birth and motherhood will affect her life and body.

Thanks for posting!
