OK, here's a question for you: Who is the most famous or the most interesting person you've ever cooked for? Write in and tell us the occasion, where you were cooking (home or elsewhere), and who the fab guest was!

I would have to say that the most famous people I cooked for were authors and activists Joe and Trude Lash--and their weekend guest, Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr.!

Yup, not kidding. I was cooking for the Lash's, who were good friends with my mother, one summer at their Martha's Vineyard home, and FDR Jr. was a guest being interviewed by Joe for a book about Eleanor Roosevelt. Pretty heady stuff for a college kid! Don't know the Lash name? Look up Joseph P. Lash on google!
