I was called away to an emergency, but grabbed a book to read because I knew there would be some waiting time. There was a couple of paragraphs about a woman who was a secret penny dropper in her town. She dropped pennies here and there so that folks would find lucky pennies. Aahh! I love that idea and anyone can do it.

I recently wrote an article titled "Pay It Forward by Volunteering" If you don't have time to volunteer or have extra $$'s to give, why not become a penny dropper and bring a smile to someone's face?

That is a great idea Vannie! Often when I see pennies on the ground I think "I'll leave that as a lucky penny for someone else to pick up!" Sometimes if it's in the street I'll even move it to the sidewalk or somewhere else safer for a person to find it. I like the sowing idea smile

Someone sent me an e-mail requesting the name of the book concerning the penny dropper. I am posting here hoping that the request can be answered. The book is part of the "Cat Who..." series.

This is what I have, Mildred the school teacher is the secret penny dropper and she is now married to Arch, Mr. Q's best friend. I can't check anything further, because I recently donated all of my Cat Who's to my library for its annual book sale.
