The Torah portion this week is called Vayera. There are many things that occur during this Parsha, but my favorite lesson has to do with hospitality.
In this week's portion, Abraham interrupts a conversation with G-d to welcome three strangers (angels) who have approached his tent. Can you imagine telling the King to "hold a sec" while you give attention to people you don't even know?
I'm writing this early because if ever you wanted to have guests over for a Shabbat meal - this is the week to do it!
