I really liked your article about storms and spirituality. There are metaphorically all types of storms. My own geographic location is not assaulted by storms as much as other areas of the US where there are storm seasons. Mostly sunshine, some rain. But in my life, there have been many, many storms to endure. Storms within as well as those brought from the outside.
Your article made me think about how we weather storms. When things rage outside, we usually just hunker down and wait for the storm to pass. I thought that this is a good plan of action for any type of storm in life.
There are storms that begin to destroy our very homes so we need to evacuate. I suppose we need to decide if the "storm" is breaking down our sense of self and so we need to save ourselves. This is similar to how a woman needs to decide to leave an abusive situation. (A poster in another forum is on my mind.)
But usually, the smaller storms can be endured. And if a really big one comes, we can hunker down and wait for the sun to come out again.
