He looked down at her broken body, caked in mud, lying there half in, half out of the muddy canal. Tying a thin rope around her, he raised her up to the nearest tree limb and secured her there. In time, she would be like the rest, decayed, unrecognizable, with vacant, staring eyes or, like some, just empty sockets. To read the full article, please click on the following link: Haunted Island On Lake Xochimilco I hope you enjoy this chilling story. The images I found on Bing are so spooky looking. I can imagine how Julian's life must have been like living on that island. I provided a link to the images at the end of my article, so you can see them. Enjoy!

Some of those dolls are really cute. I would love to crochet some cute outfits for them.

Thanks for this story, Phyllis. Julian may have been troubled but he had a kind soul. I wonder how many dolls are still on the island....

Thanks, Debbie. I am glad you enjoyed the article. From what I found out during research, people still stop by the island and leave dolls there.
My son has visited that area and said it is a fascinating place. He was very intrigued by the islands and especially Julian's island.
