Ok so this is a touchy subject maybe for some but, I truly need some guiendence here. I recently changed my direction a bit and decided to try sex magic with my husband. Prior to this I had ask the goddess to be with me and help me to see my many lifes before this one. I was completely charged and full of energy and during sex I started in to a ritual chant designed to see my past self. I had never done this before and figured that the way I had written the spell it would come to me the next time I ask, let the magic move so to speak. Well right at the moment of orgasim the weirdest thing happened I was no longer in my bed I was still with my husband but he didnt look like him I mean it was so real and seemed to last forever but it couldnt have I mean my husband didnt even seem to notice. Anyone one have any ideas or suggestions for me I am by no means jsust learning but hey as I said sex magic was something I had never tried before and now I need some guiedence Perhaps I simply was not as prepared as I thought I was.

i think you probably used this kind of magic in an ineffective way. if i wanted to use sex magic in order to look into past lives, i would raise the energy with sex and direct it into a charm of some sort, a candle, stone, or medicine bag. then i would use those charms later to access this intense type of energy during meditation where i could be sufficiently focussed to hold on to and use the energy. what seems to have happened is that you raised alot of energy, got a brief glimpse of a past life, then lost it because you were startled, surprised, and worried whether your husband would notice. sex magic is great for raising high amounts of energy, but if you need that energy for more introspective work such as you're wanting to do, the bed isn't the greatest place for it. so store it in something, put it aside, and use it later.

In addition to what mary has said, since you had no prior experience I think you should start out with a smaller goal so that when something does happen, you don't snap yourself out of it. I highly recommend finding Modern Sex Magick: Secrets of Erotic Spirituality by Donald Michael Kraig and Love, Sex And Magick: Exploring the Spiritual Union Between Male and Female by Sirona Knight. And most of all don't be scared to try sex magick. Not only will it help bond you with your husband but you can open up new channels of energy that are very helpful and worth the results!
