Great article, Lesley. I particularly enjoyed it because I have been studying Japanese folklore. My son visits Japan often and we love to talk about the stories and legends. He takes a lot of pictures of places he has been, emails copies to me, then tells me in our phone conversations about the legend or history of a certain temple, fountains, statues, etc. I really enjoy it and have learned a lot from him about Japan.
