If you own yourown home and can't make your mortgage payment DON'T MOVE! Until you are foreclosed by the courts your in possession and no one can remove you. You are NOT a tenant you are an owner. In some states this can take up to 3 years. Live there keep your kids in school and save what you can for your next home. If you need to move for personal reasons by all means rent your home! It is still yours! Just advise the renter of the situation and give him a discount along with a month to month agreement and you are set. Sometimes the bankruptcy filing is not a good idea if you can stay there without paying for a length of time you nay be able to afford your other bills. Besides if the bank really wants you out they most likely will offer you money to relocate. Yes I know what I am talking about! It is called cash for keys. It is cheaper for them to get possession so they will move on and so can you.

If when I finally move away from my parents and I end up in a tight spot and the only options would be to be homeless and to go back to them I will go homeless!

I am looking for an apartment of less than 500$ a month with electricity included, like that if I do have money trouble then I could keep it while cutting on things like internet or and television channels or and cell phone.
