It's about the half-year mark - a perfect time to review priorities!

Mine are:

~ help others directly
~ help others help themselves
~ be healthy
~ be serene
~ find the lesson in every day
~ organize my world
~ SMILE

How do I set my priorities? I've been working on this for a few years now so I hone them each time. I think about what is overall most important to me, across my entire life. This isn't about short-term goals. It's about overall life-long directions.

Organize is definitely key right now smile.

Here we are in 2015! Just the right time to revisit our priorities in life.

Remember these are LIFE LONG priorities rather than short-term goals like "get a better job." What concepts do you want to guide your entire life?

So mine are:

~ help others directly
~ help others help themselves
~ be healthy
~ be serene
~ find the lesson in every day
~ organize my world
~ SMILE

I will put a fresh copy of these by my desk so I can look at it each day. It will help ensure the things I work on are in service of these priorities.

Spend a few minutes to sort out what your priorities are. They are important to understand before you take any next steps! They help you realize that your shorter term goals should be aligned with these life-long concepts.

Right now it is to find myself again, to get myself back into shape (i have a fat tummy), have a lot of money set aside and then cut all contacts with my parents.

Time to revisit my overall life priorities! Mine are:

~ help others directly
~ help others help themselves
~ be healthy
~ be serene
~ find the lesson in every day
~ organize my world
~ SMILE

I have this list hanging at my desk and I look at it each day. It still feels like a list I resonate with.

A vision board can be a part of this. A vision board is a visual display of your priorities. Some people think better in terms of visuals. Here is a thread on vision boards.

I think in looking at my priorities that I need to try to smile more. A lot of the time I am hard at work focusing which is nice, of course, but it's good for the soul to smile.

Maybe I need to work more smile-inducing activities into my life smile.

I hadn't looked at my vision statement in over a year. It's good to review it periodically.

It is:

~ help others directly
~ help others help themselves
~ be healthy
~ be serene
~ find the lesson in every day
~ organize my world
~ SMILE

I am still quite content with that list.

My world is currently completely chaotic. The entire house is piled and piled with stuff, because I've been too busy to work on it. I think that impacts the rest of how I can manage myself.

It's time to refocus on this vision statement. Organization is a key part of that and it is important to me. I need to add that into my daily routine, to chip away at the problem.

Have you guys looked at your vision statement / priorities recently? Remember to start with finding a calm center first:

The next step, once you have gotten your main vision statement / priority list done, is to work on your long term / 5 year goals.

Long Term Goal Setting
