While there are hundreds of homophone groups, some of the words are seldom used. This article has a list of some of the most commonly used, and misused, homophones. They are in alphabetical order, more or less. How many of these can you use correctly? Let us know how you fare in the Reading Forum!

There are so many homophone groups--too many for one article. I may have several more articles with example sentences for the homophone groups that I listed. What do you think? Useful, or not?

Good idea, Connie. Perhaps you can think up some kind of theme for each article. In addition to your commonly used, you could do helpful commonly misused homophones with hints to remembering which is which.
