What is your favorite romance story? I have 2, each one just as good as the other. Both of them are by the same writer, Jane Peart, and are set in Victorian England. Full of mystery and suspense, Web of Deception and Shadow of Fear are part of the Edgecliffe Manor Mysteries series.

The Other Side of Midnight - Sidney Sheldon 1973
A romance about extra marital affairs, unfulfilled dreams and vengeance. As I remember! It was so long a go that I read it that it was probably a spy book! Or am I thinking of the Carpet Baggers by Harold Robbins, in which case most definitely not a Romance?!

I haven't read either one of them, Linda, so I have no way of knowing which one of them is a romance. "The Other Side of Midnight" sounds more like a romance than "Carpet Baggers", though.

I agree. I have read so many books that I forget the titles and the authors' names. I know what the stories are about in my head, but when it comes to trying to remember the title or who wrote it, it can take me many goes in Google.
So here is a simple one... know the title will have to Google the author.
Love Story
