What safety tips do you have for fireworks?

We do not set off fire works. They are not permitted in my county. There are several venues that have fireworks on the 4th.

We don't set them off, either. We almost set our neighbor's house on fire one year. The wind blew a lit firework onto their roof. Fortunately, it did not set the roof on fire. That settled it for us. No more home fireworks.
