According to Fox Business, there was a survey by CareerBuilders which stated that 81% of employers believe "cursing brings an employee's professionalism in question."

57% said they would not promote someone who curses
71% said it shows a lack of control
68% said it shows a lack of maturity
54% said it demonstrates a lack of intelligence

Do you agree with these employers?

What do you think when you hear someone curse in the workplace?
Have you ever lost it and cursed within earshot of other employees?

I do not agree with it at all. Curse words are just words. Unless a word is used violently then this is different but any words can be used like that and every words can have a negative effect (my parents have not used any cuss words to abuse me except for 1 time with dad and still i will feel the effects of their abuse forever - the bullies at school too not once any of them used a cuss word and still it has affected me negatively).

I don't have an issue with curse words but I understand that others might. When working in a professional environment, you have to consider how something you say or do may offend someone else.
