Is Taking a Pen from Work Stealing?

When I was in the workplace I did bookkeeping in paper journals for a part of each day. I bought myself a refillable lead pencil and attached a label with my name on it. I carried it back and forth to work each day. I think the points you make in the article are good food for thought. What we do makes up our personality and integrity.

Thanks Susan! I must admit in my very early career days I would grab a pen, walk out and not think anything of it, LOL but as I have grown in organizations and became management, I saw the "bigger picture." It all adds up!

Even if it is something small that is worth nothing if you take it without asking and without being told that you can take it it's stealing.
