This year I have had hornworms galore which just did my tomato plants in. Now the squirrel was sitting on my deck and ate 4 grape tomatoes as if he saw his name on the plants and knew they were for him alone. The chipmunk dug up the second planting of bean seeds. The sunflower which was a volunteer and did so nicely at first was hit with the hail during the storm. The finches and other birds had a field day dining on sunflower seeds. My grandsons enjoyed watching them.
