A new film depicting the love affair between John Lennon and Yoko Ono is set to begin production. Yoko Ono is one of the producers developing the project. The script will be written by "The Theory of Everything" writer Anthony McCarten. He is also at work on the Queen/Freddie Mercury pic "Bohemian Rhapsody". Biopics about the Rolling Stones and Roy Orbison are on the way, as well, showing Hollywood considers music-themed films a hot commodity right now.
