Do you prefer your romance novels sweet, with the bedroom door firmly closed, or do you like them with plenty of heat? Or somewhere in between?

I like them something in between. However, I am finding the in-between novel are increasingly hard to find. It seems that you only get sweet when you are reading Christian romance.

I do love heat, but sometimes we get so much information and so many details I am tempted to go, "eewww!" blush

I like both - but I like the steam to be romantic steam. A good steamy erotic novel writer understands that the action needs to have a base in romance for it to really work.

Otherwise, you have porn!

Of course, as an erotica writer myself, I can't really say I don't like it! But, it has to be relevant to the story and, as I said, have a basis in romance.

I don't care for steamy anymore as they have gotten very graphic in the steaminess! Also, I prefer more emphasis on a good story and characters than on the sex part.

Both but if I had to choose I'd pick steamy smile.
