This may seem like a fashion faux pas, but women are actually wearing heeled sandals with sheer and non-sheer socks. How do you feel about this style? Is this something you would try?

I never done it and never will either. I often worn a lot of weird things and also often made weird combinations when young but never did that. But of course whoever wants to do that they can, I certainly ain't judging them eventhough I do not like it.

This is just a funny fashion "thing". I cringed the first time I saw a woman in open toe sandals and socks. My next thought was, 'Oh, this could be cute if I did it correctly.' However, each time I see this sandal and sock duo, I automatically cringe. Discomfort is constantly my natural reaction, no matter how hard I try to rationalize it. I think it is time to stop fighting my feelings, lol.

I wear thin wool socks with sandals practically year round here in The Netherlands. We only have a few days of hot weather in the summer and then it is just sandals. I like the teva sandals with a slight lip to wear in rainy weather.
