I remember a "poem" from my youth (or at least part of it) and would like to know if anyone out here knows who wrote it or what the rest of it is. It goes like this:

"One cold day in the middle of the night
two dead brothers started to fight.
Back to back they faced each other
drew their swords and shot each other.
A deaf policeman heard the noise
and came and arrested the two dead boys"

That sounds so familiar! I think someone asked me it as a riddle once or something. I don't know who wrote it or anything though... sorry

It is a fun poem I remember hearing as a child in Scotland 65+ years ago !!!
