Well, a lot of people feel that way about books, but on the other hand, the eInk of the Kindle and some other readers is as easy on the eyes as paper and can be read in direct sunlight, etc. Another thing about ereaders that a lot of people don't realize is that the font can be adjusted (without scrolling) to a size that is more comfortable for -ahem- older eyes, and actually holding the unit is a lot easier than holding a big thick book open, especially if you have arthritis in your hands, or are lying down, or want to eat, drink, or exercise while you read.
The biggest complaint I hear about them, however, is the inability or limited ability to share favorite books with friends and family members. The publishers and ereader manufacturers need to give this more consideration.
