Dear Tea Lovers and lovers of "green" things and living "greener",

This post is for you.
As a long time member of Bellaonline's Green Team, I'd love to continue to promote it here in my forum.

As Spring approaches and Earth Day too, what are some things you are doing to help the earth, live greener, enjoy life more holisstic?

We can swap ideas and activities.

In the future I'll be making posts here about all things "green"

Thank you

Dear Earth lovers,

Did you know that the EPA states that indoor pollution is one of the top air pollutants in our environment? And did you also know that our home cleaning efforts are the major contributing factor of that?

Here's a short list of 5 environmentally friendly cleaners good for your lungs and your family's and the greater environment.

1. baking soda- cleans and deodorizes and cuts grease
2. castile soap- made with 100% plant oils it cuts grease
3. vinegar- eliminates grease and grime, soap scum cleans windows and deodorizes.
4. lemon juice- cuts grease, eliminates mold and mildew
5. olive oil- cleaner and polisher

Happy Spring Cleaning!

Dear Green friends of the earth,

What did you plant in your gardens?
Did you start with seed?
Do you water via a rain water bucket?

Do you can or preserve?

Do you recycle your own seeds?

Do you get seeds from a seed exchange?

Do you have more great gardening ideas?

Dear Green Readers,

How is your garden growing?

It seems this year, in my area, we've had enough rain and enough sun light and heat to ensure good vegetables and herbs this year (so far)!

Thank goodness because the last couple of years essentials like peppers and tomatoes did not do too well at all!

Dear Garden and earth lovers,

Well a lot has changed since I wrote that post! Hot and steamy and lots of rain! How are your garden crops coming in? Have you gotten the same weather and has it caused an abundance for you?

zucchini, peppers, tomato, cucumbers all doing well!

Have fun pickling, canning and eating everyone!

Dear Green Readers,

I'm hoping to make my Christmas cards again! How about you?

I'm also hoping to make several upcycled gifts for my closest friends and "food type" homemade gifts for extended family.

What kind of things are included to help lessen your footprint?

Dear Tea Readers,

What's your favorite Christmas cookie? Do you make them for tradition sake or because you love them? Do they remind you of a favorite loved one?

What cookies/ scones do you make at home for tea? And do you pick up a favorite brand for the holidays?

Dear Green Thinkers,

Has anyone used the K-cup Pods? Do you think they are helping our landfills or just one very small step to cleaning up the garbage in the landfills or do we think it's not even going to make a difference?

Has anyone had the tea products from the K-cups, and did you like them?

Dear Green Thinkers,

Has anyone started purchasing supplies for seeding as of yet?

Also was curious if anyone has ever been involved in a seed swap?

Dear Green Readers,

Spring is here! Are you planning your gardens? Are you preparing your garden beds yet? Hav you started your indoor seeding yet?

I'll be planting a lot of flowers this year geared toward the bees and pollination! Wildflower mixes are great for this!
