Ewan McGregor is making his directoral debut with the film "American Pastoral", based on Phillip Roth's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name. McGregor also stars in the film, Jennifer Connelly plays his wife, and Dakota Fanning plays their daughter. The family is caught in the turbulent upheavals of 1960s America when the daughter is accused of bombing a post office. The trailer is online and the film is slated for an October 21st US release.
