Alicia Vikander is the star of a new period drama, "Tulip Fever", which is set in 17th C. Amsterdam. The trailer was released two days ago by the Weinstein Company, which will distribute the film in the US this summer. Christoph Waltz plays Vikander's husband and Judi Dench is also in the cast, playing a nun. Vikander is enjoying a career boost from winning an Oscar. It was also recently announced that she will play Lara Croft in a reboot of the Tomb Raider series.

Update: Today, Vikander announced the formation of her own company, Vikarious Productions. The first project she will be co-producing and starring in is "Euphoria". She and Eva Green will be playing estranged sisters in the drama. Lisa Langseth is set to direct.

Update: Actress Charlotte Rampling will be joining Alicia Vikander and Eva Green for "Euphoria". Rampling is enjoying a bit of a career renaissance following her Oscar-nominated performance in 2015's "45 Years". Vikander, meanwhile, has a film slated for release on September 2nd, "The Light Between Oceans". Co-starring Michael Fassbender and Rachel Weisz, the film is a romantic drama set in the period following WWI. You can catch the trailer online.
