Director Woody Allen will be opening the Cannes Film Festival for the third time in his career with "Cafe Society". The story in set in Hollywood in the 1930s and features a large ensemble cast, typical for Allen films. Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, Blake Lively, Parker Posey, Steve Carell, Corey Stoll, and Judy Davis are the headliners. The film is photographed by Vittorio Storaro. Cannes runs from May 11th through the 22nd, with "Mad Max: Fury Road" director George Miller as the jury president. "Cafe Society" will be screened out of competition, however.
