Interesting research. Many movies (and books) feature heroes which continually chase (almost stalk) the heroine, wearing her down with their persistence. And in the end they're rewarded with the girl. Where is the line between this and stalking?

Lisa, I think romantic pursuit and stalking are faces of the same coin. If you cross the line between good and bad, it would really tip the scales and if it's bad, it would really impact the movie or a situation.

Sometimes, it's the other way around. The girl chases the guy until the guy just either realizes that she is so crazy or just plain in love with him to give her a chance.

The line can be blurred and I'm speaking from experience, believe me.
