I haven't jotted any notes lately. Our pastor retired and we are getting a new pastor and associate on February 8th. There is always change in a parish when there is a change in leadership. Our parish is 70% Hispanic and 30% English. This should be interesting.
Pope Francis is also making changes. One this week was the change in rules about the washing of the feet at the Holy Thursday Mass. Women can now be included in the ritual. Although women and children too have been included in some parishes over the years, the rule has now been officially changed.
