I'm listening to the radio this morning and one of the E.R. guys that's a regular on the morning show I listen to said he started his weekend E.R. shift with a guy who had taken fistfulls of various pills, tied a rope around his neck, poured gasoline all over himself and then climbed on his roof, tied the end of the rope to his fireplace, set himself on fire and ran off the roof but somehow his plan went wrong and he ended up in the E.R.

Holy cow. This guy really wanted to die or did he? I think there's easier ways to kill yourself than that.

I also heard a crazy story about a guy in Australia who just laid his head down on the train tracks so the train driver had no clue he was there and ran over him. His dead body was discovered by the next train driver coming down the tracks 20 minutes later.

I don't think anything or anyone is worth killing yourself over or even crying about for that long. Hopefully the first guy will get the help he clearly needs to get better.

There sure are better ways to kill ourselves!

I know too well how someone feels when they want to die because I have been there two times. The first time I was making a list of ways that would be quick and painless and I was close to making my choice which is what I thought when I started thinking about suicide again many years later which was less than two years ago.

And also I hate it when people do it in public, kill yourself if you want to but do not bring anyone else in this because they will have to live with this the rest of their lives and a perfect example is the train conductor of your last example.
