Great topic..

How about you kick it off with your choice and pic?

Yesterday I was booked to eat in the garden at Delheim Winery which has a view down the mountain to the Atlantic and Table Mountain in distance -- but alas, of all days yesterday was raining and had to eat indoors with no view frown

One of my favorite winery views is at Holly Hills in El Dorado County, California. When you walk out the back door of the tasting room, this is the view that greets you:

That's good. Thanks for posting.

Below is the view I had yesterday from my restaurant table at Spice Route winery in Paarl, South Africa.

Below are vineyards and we're looking across the valley at the mountain range on the other side. To the right, outside the picture, I could seem Table Mountain, but it didn't take a good picture being too far away (over 60K) and in heat haze.

The metal thing to the left is part of a smoker. They use wood to roast and smoke whole baby chickens for one of the dishes.

I'm on vacation in the Cape winelands to avoid the cold wet and dark back home smile

I'm writing this overlooking false Bay, with Capetown and Table mountain on the far sideof the bay almost hidden in heat haze.

Not a cloud in the sky, temp in the 30Cs (which is mid 80Fs) and its lovely
