I LOVE Solstice. This year I was sick, so am sad I missed it. But I did think about it And I feel awesome now, so am planning on doing extra celebrating on New Year's
Sorry to hear you were sick Solstice for me is the 'real' christmas. My son was born on the solstice and my dad was born on christmas day. Funnily my birthday was easter Sunday! Very auspicious days...
Yes I have! Being Scottish we don't generally celebrate Christmas, New Year is the big thing for us. I take the tree down and give thanks for the past yeas, acknowledge the lessons to take forward into the new year and set intentions for the next adventure of life. I love the New Year, it always feels like a fresh start
Spent the last day of my regular wage job clearing out the van to return it and the equipment to the council. Pretty much the ultimate in death and rebirth symbolism!
