Tracy, great article. Thank you.

One of the ways I "COPE" Tee Hee . . . Is Lists. I am a big list maker. Whether it's the simplest of chores, the dreaded chores, or activities that I actually love to do, I list. I keep a notebook to schedule out the craziest of days. For instance, I know from years and years of experience, that one trip to the store for a holiday gathering can end up being a figment of my imagination. Something is always forgotten, or added. When I make out my daily list, I will actually add a topic that says, And The What Nots We Need!

I also keeps notes of cards to respond to, any community meetings and outings, all kinds of stuff like that. It kind of keeps me even and I feel a little more in control of my time.

Sometimes things can be challenging because we are not able to say what we really want to say, and we end up carrying out tasks etc that we would rather not do.

I love Brene Browns quote for this - 'feel the discomfort over resentment' She is talking about feeling the discomfort of saying No to someone instead of the resentment you would feel after saying Yes when you didn't want to.
