Does your family have a “Kid’s Table” for holiday dinners? After finally reaching the status of being a teen, it’s not uncommon to find yourself in a dilemma as to which seat you will choose. Make your table decision using your heart, and not your age.

When I was 13, I was so excited to sit with the adults.

Half-way through the meal, I joined the "Kid's Table" with my cousins.

How many tables are there in your house? Which table do you secretly prefer?

I loved the article Chel!

When I was younger, like 5 through 8, we'd often have holiday meals with my aunt and her family too - I had four cousins! I LOVED the kid table because I loved my cousins, and it was always so much fun.

They moved away, and we became a one table family, even as we grew in numbers (new step dad and two step-siblings). I always missed the days at the "kid table."

Now as an adult, with two kids, we've always just been at the big table because for the longest time, my children were the only kids. My sister started having kids ten years later - but they live across the country from us.

So, my kids have never had that experience. Now, as young adults (16 & 18) they have no idea what a kid table experience can be like, and I'm sort of sad about that.

Deanna!!!
I was so excited to hear your Kid's Table story!
I have a few friends who remember, but many more who do not!
I do believe my pets want a their own table.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day if you celebrated.
I am getting ready to have a Turkey Sandwich. What does your family do with your leftover turkey?

HA HA Chel, I did try letting my dog up to her own chair. She was actually fine with it LOL!! But she was very dainty that way. The dog we have now far prefers that we just chuck the food on the floor for her (she's not very good at catching tossed bits at ALL!).

Our left overs lasted about 40 minutes. Though yesterday, much to my dismay, I discover a wee bit of cranberry relish that had not been eaten that had to be tossed. I SOOOOO would have had that had I known about it.

Yesterday my hubby came home from the grocery store with a small turkey. We shall have turkey leftovers!!!

Our friend, Terry, who came to visit this past weekend, brought a Turkey Breast.
We had Thanksgiving Part 2!!!!
I made up little plates for each dog. I know they appreciated the presentation. smile
