Today it was easier for me to be grateful because the sun is shining. What about the days when the sun isn't shining. Does weather or anything else affect how you feel about gratitude?

Hi Chel Such an interesting question. I think when its gloomy and raining things can feel dull and it may be more challenging to find things to be grateful for. I try to keep in mind that the sun is still shining above the clouds.

Its funny how we are so unconsciously led through life seeing all the things we don't like or want, and forget about all the things we do have to be grateful for. I love that when I focus my mind on what I am grateful for, I find more things to be grateful for

And, this evening, after a day of fall sunshine, I find myself grateful for your post, Tracy. It's been amazing to be back at BellaOnline surrounded by such supportive, interesting and intelligent writers.

I am also grateful for my Wendy's Chocolate Frosty! Yum.

Last night my daughter and I were just talking about how we were grateful for the cloudy, windy, rainy weather that had just rolled in.

Of course where we live, it doesn't happen all that often, so it's a treat. My challenge is during the summer, August especially, when it's so hot and yucky.
