Hi Rosie!
I apologize for not responding sooner. I have been having a difficult and hectic time with family.
I understand agoraphobia. It runs in my family and it at a certain point in my life, affected me as well. So I completely understand your dilemma.
It's a sad state of affairs that junk food is affordable, while healthy foods are not. But I suppose the medical industry needs sick people in order to stay in business.
FOOD: Frozen veggies are a good alternative. You can usually buy the off brands for under a dollar/bag.
Frozen fruits can be bought for $1/bag at the Dollar General (is that the one where everything is $1?).
Eggs are a complete source of protein and cheaper than most meats.
Beans are also healthy. They provide protein and fiber.
So there are some options for you that are cheap enough. But go slow. Change one meal per day or even one meal per week. Add on from there.
EXERCISE: Do you have a walker? Walkers can be your best friend for mobility in the house. Break out the feather duster and boogey!
If I were you, I would work on stretching exercises. They WILL make you sore the next day. But that's okay. Hold the stretch for 1 minute each (not 10 seconds).
So the idea here is NOT to lose weight, but to take baby steps towards overall wellness. Let the weight take care of itself. You will feel better in the long run.
The kids are well. How are you????? I miss our soap fun. I know, it's me ...
