I was a little put out with the Dear Abby response in today's paper. A teenager, who says she and her family do not believe in God, likes a young fellow who is Christian. She thinks she would like to be Christian so that she can belong but the response was to be herself and that "It's not easy feeling different, but sometimes it's worth it."
The response could have included that she explore what it means to be Christian. Of course, I may have read it wrong. If you read Dear Abby and see the item, let me know what you think.
