I recently encountered an candidate who applied for job after job, rejected each time. Part of it was due to their attitude. The problem occurred when, out of desperation, they were finally selected for a position - guess what they did....they started making demands for more money then even they knew the company wasn't paying more, they wanted to change the hours from the hours discussed in the interview and a whole host of demands which left me, to put it mildly, in shock!
So question for you, if you continuously interviewed for over a year, applied for a minimum of 15 jobs with an organization and was never selected, finally got selected, would you place demands? (In fairness, they are not aware that they were a "last resort" to fill a position)
