I am working on an article this week and it is about prisoners on death row and some of their weird last meal requests.
Have you ever thought about what your last meal request would be?
I have and I think mine would be two large pepperoni pizzas with onions and jalapenos, a dozen of hot Buffalo style wings, a 2 liter of Pepsi and a half gallon of chocolate milk.
If you could order anything you wanted to, what would you order for your last meal?
Let us know in the forum here.

For me - spaghetti marinara with mushrooms, especially. A fruit bowl with watermelon and cantaloupe and orange wedges. Guacamole and corn chips to dip. For dessert - brownies!

Yes, I have given this thought in the world of pretend. * A Medium Thin and Crispy Pizza from Pizza Hut * A Tossed Salad with Pizza Hut's Italian Dressing * 2 Extra Crispy Chicken Legs and Mashed Potatoes from Kentucky Fried Chicken * 1 Cheeseburger from McDonalds * A pack of Red Vines * A bag of Tropical Skittles * A Large Grape Soda * A Glass of Water * A 3 Musketeers Candy Bar * A Cup of Coffee with Amoretti Creamer and Two Scoops of Sugar

Okay - since I LOVE to fantasize about food, count me in!
I'd have a Canadian Bacon/Pineapple pizza from Papa Johns. A round loaf of sourdough bread with spinach dip in it. Biscuits & gravy. Welch's Apple Soda
Yup... the comfort foods.

Quite an interesting list. Anyone else have a last meal request?

Both the article and the forum comments made me smile, not the usual response to crime, LOL. I'd want oven roasted bacon wrapped chicken, dressing, baked potato with just butter, fresh steamed green beans, cherry pie (from Lynn's fruit Bin, hand made), vanilla ice cream, filtered water.
Oh my, that was a satisfying exercise! Just lovely imagining I could eat all that stuff... Thanks for the smiles.

Cheryll - Absolutely, not the usual. When I first saw this topic, I was like nah, I won't do that, I don't need to make a list. I walked away from my computer and could not quit thinking about my last meal all of sudden. Leave it to Vance to give us all this chance. And, no one asked for a nail file.

I am glad you are all enjoying this. I was hesitant to post this because it seems so morbid but then once you start thinking about anything you can eat for one last time, calories be damned on this one, it seemed like it might be fun to do and to see what everyone would want for their last meal.
I know there are more of you out there thinking about it. Come on, you can eat anything you want. What would it be?
Would you want to read a book, a newspaper, a magazine or watch a movie while you eat your last meal.
I think I would want to watch the Godfather Trilogy or at least the first two of them. Didn't really care for the third one but I might watch it anyway.

I would read the last part of "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. And, I would eat really slow.

It would have to be my mum's roast lamb Sunday dinner - I miss that so much!
