First off, I want to thank my friend Michelle Cope - the editor of the Teen site, for this wonderful inspiration!! Because I LOVE talking about books.

October is one time out of the year (the other is November and December) when I love to read books related to this particular time of year.

So, right now I'm reading a book called:

Real Ghosts, Restless Spirits, and Haunted Places by Brad Steiger. I LOVE this book. As I only read it through September and October (and because it's a pretty big book), I have not yet finished it. And, I won't be finishing it this year LOL!! But it's a fun read.

I'm also reading Sidewalk Oracle - Playing with Signs, Symbols and Synchronicity in Everyday Life by Robert Moss. I am big into paying attention to Signs and Symbols, and especially Synchronicity - so am really excited to start this book.

How about you? What New Age book are you reading right now?

Thanks for the recommendations! I find that I listen to podcasts and online summits more than reading at the moment. Although I am doing a lot of reading on a course I'm taking on logical and critical thinking - very interesting!

Although its not a real New Age book, it has aspects; I love Isabelle Allande's book The House Of The Spirits - would recommend that to anyone. Also The Power Of Now is a timeless classic and a great reminder of staying in the present moment.

Tracy, "The Power of Now" is on my "to-read" list. I read his book, "A New Earth," and just LOVED it so much. I read it a couple of times, and listened to it on audio MANY times!

I will check out "The House of Spirits." It sounds interesting

I loved the New Earth too. The Power Of Now is my favourite though. Such a great reminder to stay present to what is because it is all there is. I read it after sitting a vipassana meditation course and it just made so much sense

Okay Tracy - The Power of Now is officially sitting on my coffee table, bumped up to #1 on my "to read" list!! I can't wait to read it

Absolutely, I do think this book would be great for a 16 year-old-girl! I have had so much fun with it. It makes you think, asks a lot of interesting questions. I am using it with my doodle journal!

Oh excellent! Okay, I am ordering it!!

With the kindle version, you have links to take you pages, right? That might be fun.
