I see your question was posed some time ago Sheryl, I've only just seen it as the new editor.
Procrastination is something many of us face. Im lots of ways its a pay off or trade off - putting something off that we would rather not do brings an energy with it that drags us down. There is a kind of apathy that surrounds us and nothing gets done.
Sometimes it helps to question why. Why do I not want to do this? What is the feelings I have around this? What are the consequences of not doing this now? It may surprise you the answers you come up with.
Often people like to leave things to the last minute and enjoy the thrill of the rush of having to complete a task, feeling that there is plenty of time to do a thing doesn't always provide the impetus or motivation to do it 'now'.
