One of my favorite things about back-to-school is Fall Clothes.
Awesome sweaters, socks, a colorful crazy fun scarf over a simple shirt, jeans, comfortable skirts, and new shoes that are just as comfortable as my flip-flops!

However, right now, it’s still a bit warm in Ohio for some of this year’s Fall Fashions. What about your wardrobe? Are your sweaters in the closet waiting for cooler weather? Can you sneak them out in the evening for parties or football games?

Let us know if you have found a unique way to combine both your summer and fall wardrobes!

HA HA!!! I agree! I LOVE the back to school clothes (for moms too). But ya, it's still a bit warm. Though mornings and night are cool - YAY!!

It's Football Friday Night, and I seriously doubt it will be sweater weather until a little later. Not sure. Ohio - weather - all four seasons in one week.

Ugh, ya, our air conditioner is still trying to get our home down to 77 degrees. There's always October wink

Deanna,

We keep turning ours off and opening the door and windows with a rotating fan thru the day. It works until I put the oven on for dinner. We are just sweatin' oldies to save money!lol

Deanna, this gave me a chuckle. Quite a different perspective in my part of the world. We'd get to 77 degrees (or 25 C) by the temperature going UP, not down. There were some spells of actual hot weather during the summer, but I've been glad for sweaters on and off throughout the season.

Allyson, we are sometimes sweating it out too LOL!!! I get really happy when we can go like three days in a row without running the air conditioner!!

And Mona, where you are, I bet you have autumn leaves already :::sigh::: We'll get some autumn weather here eventually - and when we do, you will all be hearing about it smile

We have been struggling with the same issues of air conditioner and window tag. It will be cool in the morning, and than SPLAT - we get hit with some heat! Rain expected today, a bit of autumn colors coming to our trees.

It is definitely not sweater weather in Columbus. It's currently 82 degrees under partly cloudy skies and I just cut the grass!

Deanna, the autumn leaves are just beginning to appear here. In Syon Park and in Kew Gardens, I notice that some of the acers are already starting to turn. And I'm hoping to see some color in northern Norway in a couple of weeks. They tend not to get the spectacular reds, but it's still very pretty.

Mona! That sounds beautiful. I love the colors of autumn. Sometimes, in Ohio, we can go from it being so hot to suddenly cold that we miss the entire spectrum of fall colors! I have my fingers crossed that we get them this year! As I sit here in shorts and a t-shirt! smile

Mona, that does sound beautiful! And Chel, I'm in shorts and t-shirt too LOL!!

Though our mornings are so lovely, I can open all the windows, and not have to fire up the air conditioner till nearly lunchtime.

A beautiful fall day in Ohio. The sun is shining. I enjoyed the warm rays as I picked some cherry tomatoes and peppers from the garden! No sweater needed today.

Hi Susan! Those temps sound like scarf and mittens weather!

Allyson, we had a warm day here, not to the level of scorch, but nice and warm with sun!

You're right, Michelle. This afternoon I dug out the remaining potatoes from the garden and the stalks had rotted overnight so I got them just in time. It usually is a radical change of seasons here. But I do like the cooler weather.

Susan, I love the cooler weather too!!

We hit almost 100 F yesterday!! But Autumn heat is so different from Summer heat. No humidity.

I'm not quite, yet, enjoying my sweaters of scarves, but I am having a good time knitting a throw blanket right now smile I just LOVE all that yarn!

Susan, I went out to the garden yesterday and gathered some peppers and tomatoes. (We have a small garden in our backyard.) I just looked out the window and I have some more cherry tomatoes ready to pick! I'm pretty sure that we are about at the end of our growing season.

I so miss having a garden and being able to grow my own fresh stuff. I will have a big one again one day! So, for now, I'm being thankful that I can grow some herbs in pots on my patio. That makes me happy - I use so many fresh herbs in my food.

Okay... no sweaters again today. It should be about 95. Another couple of weeks, and I'll proudly be wearing a scarf for sure!

And gardens sound fun. I have an aloe plant smile
