An energy vampire is someone who chooses to latch on to the energy of other people, rather than allowing universal energy to support them. Here are some tips for managing any energy vampires in your own life.

How do you manage the energy vampires in your own life?

I first make sure I'm not BEING one myself LOL!!! That does happen, if we have a bad day, or are feeling unsupported.

But usually energy vampires do this over the long term, and continue to consciously use forms of manipulation to control other people. That can include complaining, blaming, or stirring up drama.

In my life I have someone who is a source of exhaustion for me. But since I know this about her, and I can't get her out of my life, I do things that support me - I set boundaries, speak my truth, and I don't let her use manipulation on me when I see it coming

How about you? How do you handle it?

So I heard someone talking about how children are energy vampires. This is SOOOOOO NOT true!!

Children, until they are about 7 or 8 years old, thrive on the Source Energy channeled through their parents. This is not manipulative at all, but perfectly natural, because at this age, children need the loving support and energetic protection from their parents.

It's true, parents can feel depleted because they are parents, and give so much of themselves. But, it is up to the parents to take some time to rest. It's not the child's fault - it's all up to the parent!

Energy Vampires always have a manipulative energy - they tend to be chronic complainers.
