Regal Cinemas, which operates 569 theaters nationwide, has instituted a new policy affecting moviegoers. According to its website, "backpacks and bags of any kind are subject to inspection prior to admission." Regal is reacting to security issues, including the recent shooting at a cinema in Louisiana. My state allows people to carry concealed weapons, so I don't think this new policy will help increase security at the movies. What do you think?
