I was wondering if anyone knows if it's okay to comb your hair while it's wet?

Whenever I ask I get different answers to this question...

or should wet hair only be combed when applying a conditioner?

Yes it is OK to comb wet hair. It is best to comb it with a wide tooted comb.
What you should not do is brush tangles out when your hair is wet.

i agree with that... redken antisnap treatment is AWESOME! .. i even comb my conditioner through in the shower... then put the anitsnap in before combing when i get out~ not in love with the shampoo and cond. tho~ just the leave in

With the condition of my my hair right now if I comb it when I come out of the shower a lot of it will come out...this awful perm really did it's damage...If I didn't have a lot of hair I would probaly be bald...

I will try the redken anstisnap...sounds good!

Of course it is okay. I don't know why you were told it was not.

I only use a comb when my hair is wet right after the shower, I use a brush after my morning beauty routine is over. I never liked combing dry hair just like I never liked brushing wet hair.
