When you make beer bread, try this: LEAVE OUT THE BEER. No kidding. I make mine by substituting sparkling water (tonic water) for the beer. It's healthier and cheaper. And it tastes just as good.

Best way is sparkling water. Forget about tonic water - I meant sparkling water (carbonated).

Beer bread is perfect with soup. Another tweak is to substitute flavored soda pop for the beer.
