I'm slowly trying to come out of a depressive funk. How do you pull yourself out of a funk?

For me, sometimes I have to do something different - take some sort of physical action that I don't normally take. That's the reason I started using a mini-trampoline LOL. Somehow I change my routine.
Or I'll call someone I haven't talked to in a while, or go to lunch with them. Seeing them personally is usually more helpful.
Other times I have to wait it out, and do something that distracts me, like watch movies, or read.
And all those spiders?? Yikes!
