Ready to do some interesting snacking? Chapul Cricket Bars are yes, made from crickets. The bars provide an option for those of us who live the gluten-free and starch-free lifestyle. Read my review on the Allergies and Colds page at http://www.bellaonline.com/site/allergiesandcolds

Oh my...timing certainly seems to be a thing w/me these days.

I just came across these things and, just my opinion - a no go. Bland, dusty texture, but more as I did come across these, it wasn't the whole "Insect" thing.

The feeling I got was more an introduction to something, more of a...well, like "We're gonna try to get people on board with this mind set."

The insects thing didn't bother me, as, well, working once upon a time in the one place I can remember (I think because I was able to work w/heads of companies and people just like to talk to me, maybe in a way they can't in public?" I don't know. It's certainly not charisma, lol.

But anyway, I got so many low-downs on what's in things (I mean the really, really detailed stuff) that I finally got it and accepted it.

Insects are in our foods and they're protein...pretty much everything I can think of. We had many accounts.

My question would be, why the sudden push? So between insects and organics and taste, over all diminishing in the food industry - my "feeling" anyway, is certain elements begin to become extracted from our diets.

Not to mention all the "new" warning labels on everything these days. Just somethings to ponder I suppose.
