I'm slowly trying to come out of a depressive funk. How do you pull yourself out of a funk?

I know that very well but I do not know how to get out of it. I do have ways to deal with it and sometimes I feel better. Watch the Dallas Stars, walk, sit down or stand in nature, listen to music, watch my favorite movies and shows, read, do activity books (coloring + dot to dot + maze + find objects + etc) and play games.

Thanks Nancy. I do need to get out more. I've been so tired that it makes getting out of bed and doing the simple things I chore and 1/2. I've picked up my writing speed. That seems to help some.

Jana, Are you tired because of insomnia? I was supposed to go on the beach every day (just staying in front of our house) after stopping to walk every day but I haven't done that. Well I did I yesterday but it was not planned, I had to go out to get two bins near the street and since I had put clothes and rain boots on and that it was raining I went there. I have no idea why going on the beach that is in front of my house too much work for me, it was always a dream living near water and now that it is happening (well in Ste-Florence too but there spiders were out in winter too) I stay inside most of the time. I am glad that you keep on writing .

Nancy,
My insomnia is a big issue. It's also the jobless thing. I can understand why you wouldn't want to go outside there. I'm fortunate I don't see many spiders. Winter spiders? Outside?
Thanks. It does help sometimes.
I had to ramp the writing up so I can get the second book done before I release them both as soon as I can and start on the third.

Jana,
I understand being jobless. I lost my job in July 2009 and here I am still jobless.
Yes, in Ste-Florence the spiders go out during Winter and yes there's snow there and it's cold. And it's not only were we live it's in nature too. One time while walking in the forest in front of the house one was walking there too and one other time on a dirt road and the same thing happened. Plus they are huge there, a lot are the size of tarentulas. Here there are less spiders, they are not huge and they do not go out in Winter.
How will you release your books? Will they be sold on Amazon or places like that?

Nancy,
Sorry to hear that. I know what it feels like for sure.
Sounds like spider country. Oh no. I can handle the smaller ones, but the bigger ones really creep me out. Well, at least where you live now has less of them. I'm sure you're glad about that.
I will be releasing them on Amazon and other electronic media. I may even offer a paperback version, the print on demand version. I write under a pen name.

Jana, If you release a paper version I will buy them. I only read paper books. I used to not be able to deal with baby spiders and with the years I got better. My phobia is still a big one though but I never thought it would become less severe so maybe one day I won't be afraid of them anymore (1 can dream lol).

Nancy, I love my paperbacks still too. Warning, these books are not sweet, innocent stories. They're erotic romance, but with a twist or two. Dreams are nice to have. I went outside the other night to sit on my picnic table. It was dark and muggy. I ran smack into a spider web. Fortunately, no spider was in it.

Jana, You do not need to warn me about anything from your books, nothing offends me about fiction . You are lucky that that web had no spider on it
