Berries?

I is wary
of a berry.
If it's rasp
it makes me gasp
when the pips
pass my lips
and get stuck
in my teeth. That's yuk!

Hello,

Gee - it's been nearly a month since the last post on this thread, so we need to rectify that I say.
...............................................................

BUGS

If you were a bad bug
then you'd need a big hug
From the gardener who lugs
All those tools in the trugs
Since unearthed by the holes that she's dug.

But hugs are not given by trug-lugging gardeners
Who certainly are not the bad-bug yard pardoners.

If you get in their way
They spray.

...............................................................

Okay then, your turn - write on anything garden related or try

GARLIC

Cheers now

Hi there,

.................................................................

Garlic is easy to grow
But it's important to know
To ground the bulb the pointy side up
Or on your own plants you'll not sup.

.................................................................

Add a verse to the GARLIC above or How about GARDEN TOOLS?

Cheers

Gardening Tools

The green thumb gardening rules
For a green thumb gardening tools
Is to have the one right when you need it.

See, for garden things you must do
If your garden tools are too few
It's no good when you need to weed it.

Of course tools come in all shapes and sizes
And if you have them in one of their guises
They'll be there when you need to seed it.

Gifts of spades, forks, rakes and hoes
With instructions for use - no more woes
You'll be smiling for sure when you read it!

With planning and effort, sunshine and soil
Your tools will make gardening enjoyable toil
So you can exactly precisely and indeed it!

Not sure that this works but it was worth the try!

Okay, what about BEES next time around? Try please, ta.

Hiya,

BEES
One of life’s keys
Is to be as busy as the bees
That pollinate as they visit
And ask you “Why is it?”
You seem not to care
About what you have there
When you could plant the flowers
That will keep them for hours
Finding sweet nectar as fare
And sharing pollen everywhere.
So the plants you have growing
Should be there with your knowing
Just what blooms they prefer
To make magic occur
Blooming for butterflies is easy
So too, grow choices buzz bee-zy
Add some thought and some dare,
C’mon show that you care

… and give those around you time to stand and stare!
...............................................................

Join in - add your own about Bees or let's go for PANSIES. In Afrikaans they have a charming name - Gesiggies - which means little faces.

Cheers

Pansies

Look! What you can see's
lots of purple pansies
and red, white and true blue
The choice is up to you
Maybe flowery suns
yellow, gold or orange ones

And do you think
perhaps some pink
They are quite
the rainbows of delight,
no airs and haughty graces
Smile at your pansy pack
and their little faces
smile back.

Ogden may have written something like this below ... hopefully anyway!

Lots of Pansies in my hansies
are just as nice as hansies of Tansies.

How about writing on COMPOST - and for an extra test make it a touch educational?

Okay then, cheers
